Custom Pet Portraits, Explained

What is a custom pet portrait from a photo?

EverMoment turns one pet photo into two personalized artworks. The process preserves the recognizable identity visible in your photo—such as facial structure, coat markings, proportions, and expression—while interpreting it in your chosen art style.

Photos and pets that work best

Clear, well-lit dog and cat photos produce the strongest results. Other pets can also be submitted when the face, important markings, and body shape are visible. Heavy blur, deep shadow, or hidden features may limit what can be preserved.

Pet Portrait FAQ

Common questions about custom pet portraits

What is a custom pet portrait from a photo?

It is personalized artwork created from your pet photo. EverMoment creates two artistic interpretations while preserving the recognizable features, markings, proportions, and expression visible in the source image.

What photos work best?

Use a clear, well-lit photo where your pet’s face, eyes, markings, and body shape are easy to see. Natural daylight and an original, uncropped file usually provide the strongest source detail.

What pets and portrait styles are supported?

The current flow supports pet photos, including dogs and cats, in Classic Oil, Soft Watercolor, Geometric Mosaic, and Mid-Century Modern styles. Other pets can be submitted when their important features are clearly visible.

What if my source photo is difficult?

Blur, heavy shadow, a very small face, or hidden features can limit the result because details that are not visible cannot be recovered exactly. You can leave without paying and try a clearer photo if the previews are not right.
